Hey guys!
One thing that really excites me about this countdown, is that I get to share some of my favourite music with you.
And sure, that's what I do all year long by running this blog, but with our Birthday Countdown, it's a lot more personal.
It is so nice to have this bunch of talented musicians involved and working with them is such a wonderful opportunity.
Alright, before I get too cheesy, let's just check out day 16!
What is #HITSBC17?
HITSBC17 stands for house in the sand's Birthday Countdown 2017.
Throughout the entire month of February, we are going to celebrate house in the sand's fifth birthday.
(Because why celebrate on one day, if you can celebrate for an entire month, right?)
With the support from some of the finest artists and bands around, each day in February will be filled with an exclusive performance just for us.
Who is performing today?
Robbie Cavanagh.
He is a singer/songwriter from Manchester, UK.
Robbie's music can be genrefied as Acoustic, Folk as most of his songs are guitar and vocal based - yet there's more to him than that.
His album "The State Of Maine" consists of handcrafted, storytelling and relatable songs presented as interesting and lively tracks.
The musician keeps releasing fantastic songs as well as touching music videos and is gigging his way through the UK.
His upcoming single "Godsend" will be released on February 24th, so stay tuned for that.
What needs to be said about this performance?
It showcases all the elements which make Robbie such an exciting artist; personal lyrics, a beautiful melody, handcraft writing and a warm and expressive voice.
I am super convinced that you'll appreciate this song for all the obvious reasons.
Ladies and Gents - check out Robbie's fantastically passionate performance of his song "Fool".

Who deserves a thank you?
Robbie! Not only for recording this fantastic performance for us, but also for recommending some artists and dealing with my slightly hysterical messages. I appreciate it.
