Hey guys!
Where do you find comfort?
Well, I find mine in my cat (hashtag crazy cat lady) and music.
To me there's nothing more comforting than a gorgeous song to calm you down and soak you in.
This countdown has been such a fantastic showcase of music so far and it's such a pleasure to share music I adore with you.
Thank you for coming over and listening to what we feature!
What is #HITSBC16?
HITSBC16 stands for house in the sand's Birthday Countdown 2016.
Throughout the entire month of February, we will be celebrating this website's fourth birthday.
One artist/band a day is going to wish us a happy birthday and then perform a song exclusively for this sweet occasion.
Who is performing today?
Robbie Cavanagh.
He is a singer/songwriter from Manchester, UK.
Robbie's music can be genrefied as Acoustic as most of his songs are guitar and vocal based - yet there's more to him than that.
His album "The State Of Maine" consists of handcrafted, storytelling and relatable songs presented as interesting and lively tracks.
The musician keeps releasing fantastic songs as well as touching music videos and is gigging his way through the UK.
What is special about this video?
It's very imtimate and it simple - it's just Robbie and his guitar - yet it's anything but monotonous.
The song he's performing is a beautiful ballad which will make you relax for the time you hear it.
So here is Robbie Cavanagh performing his song "Choked Up" for our birthday!

Who do we need to thank?
The talented Robbie for sending this video within the blink of an eye after I've invited him to join.
I wasn't expecting such quick response and can't praise it enough.
We also need to thank Liam for introducing me to Robbie at The Whiskey Jar in beautiful Manchester.
Thank you both!
