Hey guys!
The countdown is turning into a real challenge for me!
A challenge not to overwhelm you with cheesy and happy words.
I hope you understand that seeing the project do so well after spending 5 months of organizing it, is pretty amazing.
You've already seen fantastic performances and there are more to come!
What is #HITSBC16?
HITSBC16 stands for house in the sand's Birthday Countdown 2016.
Throughout the entire month of February, we will be celebrating this website's fourth birthday.
One artist/band a day is going to wish us a happy birthday and then perform a song exclusively for this sweet occasion.
Who is performing today?
Anthony James LaLota.
He is a singer/songwriter from Baltimore, USA.
Inspired by acts such as Tom Waits and Bruce Springsteen, Anthony's sound can be described as a soulful combination of Blues and Folk.
Armed with his storytelling songs, the musician has been gigging the Mid-Atlantic region of the US since 2008. He also toured with UK & Ireland.
Anthony is currently recording his debut album which shall be released within this year!
What is special about this video?
This performance is super passionate and it so comforting an warm.
There's something about the atmosphere that just makes me want to wrap up in the blanket, drink a hot chocolate and listen to this all day.
Here we go, this is Anthony James LaLota performing his song "Leaving On The Train".

The wonderful Anthony for being super spontaneous and for recording this fantastic video so quickly.
We also need to give Chris Stringer credits for arranging this for us.
Thank you both! Hope to see you soon!
