Day 12: Rory Wynne | #HITSBC16

Hey guys!

It's something I don't usually do but today I feel like giving a massive shoutout to three ladies who are supporting this countdown so much.

Dear Nessi, Katy & Sandra - I see every retweet, every share, etc and it's so incredibly wonderful!
I really appreciate it!

And even though I only named three ladies here, every "like", "retweet", etc counts and I wish I could give everyone a hug. (Yeah... that comes off a lot creepier than I thought. Sorry for that!)

Let's get into today's post, shall we.

What is #HITSBC16?
HITSBC16 stands for house in the sand's Birthday Countdown 2016.
Throughout the entire month of February, we will be celebrating this website's fourth birthday.
One artist/band a day is going to wish us a happy birthday and then perform a song exclusively for this sweet occasion.

Who is performing today?
Rory Wynne.
He is musician hailing in from Stockport, UK.
His Indie-Rock meets Punk sound is very refreshing and has gotten Rory a lot of attention from Radio 1, BBC Introducing Manchester and fellow musicians.

He was brought up surrounded by Rock music which obviously had a big impact on Rory.
The in '99 born musician plays guitar, drums, keys and sings.

Supporting acts such as Ratboy and bands like Blossoms, Rory Wynne is successfully getting his music out into the industry.

What is special about this video?
We filmed in the bar in the basement of The Deaf Institute in Manchester and it was lovely!
Rory's performance is very refreshing, very confident and passionate.
He sure deserve the "Ones To Watch in 2016" title.

And here we go, enjoy Rory Wynne performing his recent single "Why Don't You?" on house in the sand.

Where can we find Rory Wynne online?
Website | Twitter | Facebook | Soundcloud | YouTube | Instagram

Who do we need to thank?
The talented Rory himself for coming down and performing for HITS. And also a big thanks to Kara for organising the session and for getting us this fantastic location to shoot in.
It was a pleasure meeting you both!

What can we do now?
If you've enjoyed this article, please help us reach more people by sharing it along with the hashtag #HITSBC16.
Everybody who uses the hashtag on Twitter, Facebook & Instagram has the chance to win something lovely once the countdown is over.

I hope you enjoyed day 12!
