Song Of The Day: "Hustle" by TYA

Hey guys!

The more often we write them, the more fun those "Song Of The Day" posts become.
They are such a great way to share fantastic songs with you, because they take less time to work on than album reviews.

So the beauty of these is that we get to share a bigger variety of acts with you - and that's pretty great.

The amount of talent that we keep on finding, could be slightly overwhelming - but we're all handling it with grace and excitement.

TYA are an Alternative four piece outfit from Brisbane, Australia.

The band started out as The Young Art and had big moments early on.
They found success in Far North Queensland, released a full length album, supported and toured with Sheppard, Wolfmother and more.

In 2015, the band moved to Brisbane, toured nationally with their good friends Chase Atlantic and recorded a five-track EP, which was never released.

Personal things happened, other things changed and the band knew they were about to head into a new musical direction, away from the Indie Rock vibes.
First single "Midnight Drive Through", presents the TYA's new sound and tells the band's story.

Their upcoming EP, "No Money, More Love" will be out on October 13th 2017.

We are here to chat about "Hustle", their latest single.

"Hustle" is vibrant and atmospheric.
The energy of the song is colourful, yet anything but intrusive - in fact, it's so casually cool, allowing you to become one with the track.

"Hustle" has those elements, that just make you move - straight forward guitar riffs, a supportive bassline, drum beats that know what they want and gripping vocals.

If you're looking for a song to pick up your mood and get you dancing, you may have just found it.
