50 (random) facts about me. Part 1.

Hey guys,

I recently asked my wonderful twitter followers if they'd enjoy the "50 random facts about me" tag and the feedback was quite overwhelming.

So it's time to break away from the music blogging for a day or two and let you guys get to know me a bit better.

A few facts are written on pictures. :)
To make it a bit more interesting I decided to split it into two parts. Here's part one:

1.) My middle name is Laura, so I'm Vanessa Laura.
3.) I went to the first concert of my life when I was six years old. (It was by the German girl band "No Angels")
4.) I finished school as schools best in English. (1,1 ~ almost a straight A)
6.) It glitters = I love it.
7.) When I was nine years old I was in a dance group and even did some performances on stage.
8.) My grandfather is Spanish, so I've got some Spanish blood in my veins.
10.) I love love love green tea and get a lot of strange looks for that.
11.) I used to dislike the colour red. Now it's my favourite.
12.) I've had a hard time deciding which One Direction boy is my favourite. It's Harry. (it is okay to fan-girl sometimes!)
13.) My notebook never leaves my side.
14.) I either do something with passion or I don't do it at all.
16.) When I was three years old I once coloured my face completely black. (Imagine how happy my Mum had to be about that.)
17.) My biggest dream is it to save someone's life or at least make someone live a better life.
18.) I live by the quote "the only way you fail is when you don't react" (written in the song "Canary In The Coalmine" by Jim Kroft)
19.) If my Mum had to describe me in three words she would use ambitious, sassy and talkative.
21.) If I could, I would steal Demi Lovato's voice.
22.) I'm a really sarcastic person. It's just great. (see what I did there?)
23.) I can get overexcited very easily.
24.) Technology fascinates and confuses me.

Soooo, that was part one of the tag. Part two shall be up in a few days.

I really hope you enjoyed reading random stuff about that girl behind "house in the sand".

x Vanessa

p.s. why don't you leave a comment with one random fact about you? That would be the coolest!

  1. It's so nice to get to know you. And if I am to leave you a fact about me, it's that "The Perks of Being a Wallflower" honestly changed my life or the way I see it and I have a massive love for both the book and the movie. It's just such a big part of me now.

    1. Thank you! :)
That sounds wonderful, I'm not much of a reader but I know how things like a book or a song can change your way of thinking and acting. :) x

    2. I feel sorry for you if you're not a reader, and I hope you know which way I mean it and that I don't mean it in a mean way at all. But this book is just so beautiful (and the movie is, too). If you ever feel like you need sth good to read, read this. It's such a wonderful story. :) x
