new people.

Hey guys,

tomorrow I'll start my second week of school. The first week was so exciting because everything was new: a new school, new subjects, new rooms, new teachers - but the thing I was most excited about was meeting new classmates. Like - what's more interesting and exciting than meeting new people?

Finding out what they like, talking to them about things like music, getting to know their hobbies, etc. I just really like that. In my new class are a few girls who like horses, a few guys who make music and some just have hobbies I don't know much about yet.

Thinking about how exciting this new class makes me made me think about how many people I have met in the last two years.

For example all my twitter friends - I got to know you because we share a love for the same bands, we started talking and probably both found out cool things about each other.

Or the people I met at concerts - remember waiting at the venue, being bored and excited at the same time, talking to each other about the great band we were about to see?

Or the artists themselves - Dan, James, Martin, Ryan, Jim - this goes out to you: I am so happy that I got to know you a lot better, not only through your music but also through meeting you after shows and talking via Twitter or e-mail.

I am really thankful about everyone I got to know because of my little houseinthesand. 7 months ago I started this blog because I wanted to get my words out. Out into the social network world. I did not expect any feedback or followers or anything. But the opportunities this blog has already given me are incredible.

When was the last time you got to know someone? Just last week because of school? Or maybe a month ago when you moved to town? Let me know - I'd love to get to know you!

I just changed from gymnasium to real and I met sooo many new people so I know how you feel :)
I just have one question: what school are you going, too? you already told in your twitter account a few months ago that you finished school. so, is it a journalism school or something? I could imagine that would fit you :)

    1. First of all: thank you so much for your comment. :)
Yes, I finished "Realschule" in July and now I'm going to a school which is specified on languages, it takes two years to graduated and then I can study journalism.
      Thank you a lot!
Do you have a Twitter account? Let me know and I'll follow you :)
