but that doesn't mean we have to slow down exploring music we love just yet.

Headliner: Dayglow


Dayglow is the alias singer, songwriter and producer Sloan Struble uses to release catchy indie pop.

Hailing in from Fort Worth, Texas (US), Sloan started Dayglow in 2017 and pretty quickly found his sound. Although he didn't grow up in the art scene or in a musical surrounding, so it was up to him to find what he loved and create his own thing.

Writing and producing everything himself, Sloan felt inspired by Tame Impala to write on his own but tour with a band. Finding inspiration not only in music but also in places, his debut album "Fuzzybrain" pretty much just bubbled out of his brain. (Pun intended.)

We quickly became fans of Dayglow's sound and we're pretty sure you'll be adding him to your playlists in no time.

Hey everyone!

Happy Tuesday!
Well, Tuesday generally have a bad rep, don't they?
The weekend is over, Monday has seen most of us return to work, whether that's 9 to 5 or 24/7 (hello there fellow freelancers!), it can be a bit of pain in the behind.

But isn't it also kind of cool how we collectively conquer another week?
We kinda think it is.
And to make it a lot easier, we think you need decent music - which we love providing to you.

Our DC based photographer Gabby has some photos of two brilliant bands for you today and if you add those two bands to your playlist, your Tuesday will improve about 124%.

Support Act: Inhaler


Inhaler are a four piece from Dublin, Ireland.

They met at school and soon realised they all share interests and had similar tastes in music. This, of course, led to them uniting to bring quality rock music to the crowds.

Inhaler are:
Elijah Hewson (vocals, rhythm guitar)
Josh Jenkinson (lead guitar)
Robert Keating (bass)
Ryan McMahon (drums)

The guys have already released a bunch of singles, such as the soundtrack-like "It Won't Always Be Like This" and their latest, "Ice Cream Sundae", a groovy retro number.

After seeing them opening for Blossoms, we certainly can't wait to hear more from them.

Headliner: Blossoms


Blossoms are a five piece band from Stockport, UK.
Their sound has drawn inspiration from bands such as Oasis and Artic Monkeys to the classic 80s Pop elements.

They started out as a school band, named after a local pub.
As the band came together, they pretty quickly found their sound and started writing and releasing their debut single, "You Pulled A Gun", and soon after dropped their debut EP, "Bloom".

Blossoms are:
Tom Ogden (vocals, guitar)
Charlie Salt (bass, backing vocals)
Josh Dewhurst (lead guitar)
Joe Donovan (drums)
Myles Kellock (keyboards, backing vocals)

After signing to Virgin EMI, Blossoms kept releasing EPs while gigging around the country and playing festivals, including a set at Glastonbury in 2016.
Their self-titled debut album made it to number 1 in the UK charts and they haven't slowed down since.

Besides touring all over the place, Blossoms wrote and recorded another album and released the "Cool Like You" LP in 2018.

We have a wave of exciting content coming your way and can't wait for you to discover all the music we are loving.
Today however we have some photos of an artist we are pretty sure you're already familiar with - Lewis Capaldi.

The talented singer/songwriter has taken over the industry by storm with his seriously amazing songs but also with his very Scottish sense of humour.

Our DC photographer Gabby Ames went to see Lewis in Washington last week and today we get to share her photos with you.

Lewis Capaldi is one of those artists who seem to be everywhere these days.
Whether it's to perform his hit single "Someone You Loved" on Ellen or on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the ballad seems to be in everyone's ears these days.

Can one complain though? Not at all!
Critics from all over the world have described the sound the musician delivers as refreshing, up and coming artists have been thanking Lewis for paving the way by putting piano based ballads back in the charts.

Lewis had his start playing in pubs back in Glasgow where he was born. With his passion for music being very prominent so early on, it's not much of a surprise to see how well he's doing now.
He released his single "Bruises" in May 2017 which quickly racked up 28 million streams on Spotify.

Shortly after Capaldi signed with Virgin Records and Capitol Records and released his debut EP, "Bloom", in October of 2017.
He spent 2018 touring North America and Europe and released multiple singles; "Rush", "Tough" and his biggest hit to date, "Someone You Loved" which has reached over 2.5 million U.S. adjusted track sales, as well as 350 million combined streams.

Capaldi has toured with Ed Sheeran, The Killers, Bastille, Rag'n'Bone Man, Niall Horan and Sam Smith.

Lewis' debut album, "Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent" which was released in May 2019, is the fastest selling UK debut of 2019 and has racked up over 1.2 billion combined streams.
