It's the second Monday of 2018.
A lot of us are probably caught somewhere between being extremely motivated to make this year better and still fighting with some of the struggles we had to face last year.

Because let's be honest - January 1st does not take away your problems.
You know, there are those dark times, that I'm sure we've all had before. And we carry them with us, subconsciously.
We don't always think about them, but they are there.

This intro is not meant to make you feel upset - hell no!
But it's meant to remind you that we all have things going on and have to face tough times.

And I'm not the only one aware of that.
That's why I'm excited to share today's post with you.

"Voices" by Cecilia Ebba


Cecilia Ebba is a singer/songwriter, orginally from Northern Sweden, but now based in London, UK.

Her sound mixes a lot of elements and has found her own Alternative Folk signature.
Cecilia started her solo project in her bedroom studio last year and released her debut single "Sweet Summer Wine" in June 2017, followed up by the stunning "Breathe Out, Breathe In". 


Today we're excited to put the spotlight on Cecilia's latest single, "Voices".


"Voices" is beautiful.
It's atmospheric, it's gentle and it allows you to lean back and take a few minutes to give yourself credits for relating to the theme of the song but still going on.

It's unexpectedly encouraging and comforting.
Cecilia's vocals are nothing but completely stunning and guide you through the song with such grace and empathy.
The soft finger picked e-guitar quickly becomes a familiar friend and you'll find yourself relaxing into the song.

We don't usually copy press releases, but we just love Cecilia's meaning behind the song, so we wanted to share it with you:
"'Voices' was born from a lonely place and was written midst a first re-encounter with some old familiar whispering demons, who for a brief moment stepped out from the shadows to show themselves in full light. It's about briefly allowing yourself to peek through an old door that you shut a long time ago, balancing on the edge, close enough to feel old emotions catching up with you while you're still at a safe enough distance to remain control and shut the door when needed."

Release Of The Day: "Breathe Out Breathe In" by Cecilia Ebba

Hey guys!

It's the first day of this Summer, that I'm actually cold.
It's a super rainy and windy August day over here and it genuinely feels like Autumn - and for some reason I'm super happy about it.
As soon as I got home, I made a little playlist of songs for a cozy afternoon - and that got me thinking.

Isn't it magical how we have music for different moods and also for the weather?
When it's warm and sunny, we tend to listen to upbeat tracks.

And on a rainy day like this, our playlists get a little bit darker.
Kind of like the clouds.

Today sees the release of a track that couldn't be any better for this weather.

The softly howling e-guitar soon joins the party and underlines the mystery in such complementary way.

Cleverly timed percussions and powerful drumbeats complete the puzzle of elements and reveal a stunning song for rainy days and dark nights.

It's the dark feeling of the song which soaks you in immediately and doesn't let go of your attention.

This one leaves us wanting more!
